I believe that the need to create is a very deeply held human desire. The draw of bringing order and beauty to chaos exists in all of us, and has from the very beginning. We strive to create because we were fashioned after the likeness of our creator. How this manifests may differ from person to person, but this act of creation is our art. For me, from a very early age I wanted to be a writer and a painter. I have been blessed to have been able to pursue both.
